Standard delivery is free on all orders over £50 ex vat (the shopping basket will calculate how much extra needs to be spent if under £50 to aid achieving free delivery).
Orders under £50 ex vat incur a £4.95 ex vat delivery charge, orders under £40 ex vat will still only incur a £4.95 ex vat delivery charge, but may take 1-3 working days to allow for delivery.
Our courier partners or suppliers directly will deliver your order to the address advised on your order. As part of this process we may need to contact you by email or phone to advise further delivery information. With this in mind we would be very grateful if you could ensure the email address or telephone number provided is one which is regularly used. If after the point of order you would like to add additional contact details to allow for a smooth delivery please contact us using the details provided on our contact us page.
Harder To Reach Areas
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Channel Isles, destinations outside of the UK, Scottish Highlands and Islands are subject to an additional delivery charge which is worked out against the weight of your order, please call the sales office on 0845 226 3313 if you require further information on charges and extended leadtimes which would apply.

Ordinarily the majority of office products featured on Office Needs Direct are delivered on a next business day timescale. Orders placed before 5pm will be delivered next working day stock permitting. Our delivery partners deliver Monday – Friday between 8.30 am and 5.15 pm. Orders placed on a weekend will be processed the next working day and delivered the day after. (I am afraid we are unable to provide specific times of the day a delivery may occur on standard deliveries). ***PLEASE NOTE COVID-19 IS HAVING A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON OUR DISTRIBUTOR AND COURIER PARTNERS - THIS IS RESULTING IN DELIVERY TIMESCALES VARYING FROM 1-3 WORKING DAYS ON STOCKED ITEMS. Furniture lines are picked and processed from an alternative depot and if combined with other stationery lines will arrive on a seperate courier delivery. The leadtime on stocked furniture lines is typically 3-5 working days (please note some non-standard fabric colours may be on an extended leadtime. Standard colours tend to be blue, black, charcoal, claret), please contact us here or open our webchat, f you would like a member of the team to check furniture stock before placing your order. Expedited furniture deliveries are possible on some lines, call or contact us through the web chat for further details.
Ordering & Payment
When you place an order on our site you will be taken to the secure sagepay site for payment. From here you will be able to choose from all the major card providers and also the option of using your paypal account.
Payment is processed at the point of order to allow us to process your order without delay, should the product not be available in the timescales pre advised by the product details or our standard delivery timescales, then a member of our customer services team will be in touch using the contact details provided when creating your account.
An email will be sent confirming your registration details, and also at the point of order to acknowledge your items ordered - this email will contain your order number which should be used on all communication with us so we can quickly bring up your details.

Returns and Replacements
Office Needs Direct offers a simple no quibble returns policy:
Damaged items: Please notify within 48 hours of receipt. Simply call the sales office on 0845 226 3313 and we will arrange collection and redelivery.
Short Deliveries: Please notify us within 48 hours of order delivery by calling the sales office on 0845 226 3313 and we will resolve.
Warranty issues: Simply call us on 0845 226 3313 and we will advise the correct procedure for the manufacturers item in question.
Items simply no longer required can be returned within 14 days of delivery and may be subject to handling charge in order for us to make collection from customers address and restock with manufacturer. Items would need to be returned in 100% resaleable condition in original undamaged packaging. (Please note that items specially ordered and which are indicated as non-returnable in the product details cannot be returned for credit)
Credits are processed back to the customer once goods have been booked back into stock.
